I’m creating a food blog. “But, Jessi!” you say, “Food blogging went out with Obama’s first term!” Well…you’re not wrong. But. I’m doing it anyway.
I already have a blog, and who writes blogs anymore, anyway? I don’t care though, because I’m doing this for myself. Here’s the story.
I love to cook. I mean, I really, really love to cook. Cooking is my happy place. It’s what I do to unwind. And I’m pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. I started out as a baker primarily (I even did that professionally for a very short-lived stint), but over the years I’ve always said that I need to somehow keep track of the meals I cook, because I always forget what was good, what was really good, and what was a big, fat dud. So. Here we go. I’m not totally sure what exactly this will be yet, but we’ll see. Oh, also: “The Good Food” is Jeff’s favorite dish – it’s this disgusting casserole with sloppy joe filling, canned biscuits, and shredded cheese. But I love him, and he loves it, and so…there you have it.
